This connects to the chapter because of the walkouts going on for a better education. how Chicano students just walkout of classrooms and protest for their rights without caring what would happen they just wanted a better life.
I liked the chapter becasue it shows that theses students werent afraid to stand up for their rights. even the little kids were standing up for a better education. it takes a lot for someone that doesnt have a voice stand up for better conditions and their rights to be respect.
I will remeber a quote in a picket sign because its telling others not to give up and that one day Chicano will be anything they want to be in life.
